Summarise Written Text gives you content, form, grammar and vocabulary marks. Form is binary: one single sentence between five and 75 words. Two sentences scores zero for the whole item, however good the summary is.
The safest pattern is a compound sentence joined with a semicolon replacement you can control: main idea, followed by a comma and a linking word such as while, whereas, although, and, or because, followed by the second idea.
Target 35 to 50 words. Long enough to carry two or three key points, short enough that you do not lose control of the grammar.
Pull your content from the topic sentence of each paragraph, not from examples or statistics. Examples are illustration; the engine is looking for the argument.
Before you submit, do two checks only: count the full stops, and read the sentence once for subject verb agreement. Everything else is optimisation you do not have time for.
